Children's Fiction: A First Christmas; Friends and Festivity (Book Two of the Everlasting Adventures of Elannah and Sam)

A First Christmas; Friends and Festivity by Sean Noonan is a lighthearted tale about Sam and Elannah who travel to a dreamland tree-house in the jungle. From there they begin their adventure to find a Christmas tree, the best Christmas tree, in order to throw a party for their magical friend, the Bridge Troll, who had never before celebrated Christmas. Along the way to securing everything "perfect" for their party, the children meet several of their magical friends who lead them to many discoveries.

What I like most about the book, besides the uplifting voice in which the story is told, is the fact that the author had his children do the illustrating. It is a good read for bedtime, or by an independent reader, anytime of year.

On a scale of 1-4, I give this book a 4.

This book was published by Outskirts Press.

Thank you to Sean Noonan for the gift of this book.

Thanks for the words of encouragement.
I am the author and am currently writing books three and four of the series.

Book three is an Holiday adventure in the Seven Sleeping Seas of Midnight. Join Elannah and Sam who sail away for fun and adventure with Chish a salty seadog who has lost his itch, accompanied by other friends they meet as they solve a series of mysteries. Such as how do you find Holiday sun at night? Just how big can you build a sand castle? How potent is the forgetful seaslug's slime?
Soak up sun, sea and sublime plot twists in this fun filled Holiday adventure.

Book four is a Halloween adventure when Elannah and Sam go trick or treating with their friends, Rodger the Badger and Raspberry Rockstyle to Grumphspawn's home, but all is not as it should be and the grumpy wizard seems to be both at his grumpiest and his most jovial. And just where have the wizard's pigs, Piggywiggy and Oink gone? Spooky fun to thrill you all.
